400 George Street

 

400 George Street is a 34 level commercial       tower that is supported by retail including a restaurant, childcare centre and food court. The building was officially opened on 9th of December 2009. It was developed by Leighton Properties and Grosvenor Australia and designed by Cox Rayner architects to create a vibrant, healthy and iconic building with best practice environmental ratings.  The Green Building Council of Australia awarded 400 George St 5 Star Green Star - Office As Built v2 Certified Rating. In March 2017 the building achieved a 5.5 Star NABERS Energy Rating.

400 George is prominently located on the corner of George and Turbot Street in Brisbane CBD’s North Quarter. It is easy to access via the Roma Street Transit Centre, Kurilpa Bridge and George Street Bus Depot.   400 George Street is a short stroll from the Kurilpa Bridge and the Southbank Arts Precinct.

400 George houses high profile tenants such as The Department of Environment and Science, a Federal Government department, Microsoft, Queensland-based law firm Cooper Grace Ward, NTI Limited and an onsite childcare operator Little Scholars.

It also provides a diverse array of dining options from early morning which includes the gourmet Chocolate Soldier lobby café and the convenient food court, 400Food. A Night Owl convenience store and CBA branch are located on ground level. The building is co-owned by Trinkaus and 151 Property and is managed by Knight Frank.
